Graphic Designer

Runa, an Amazonian beverage company and social enterprise is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer to work from our Brooklyn, NY office. Runa is a passionate, entrepreneurial, growing company, looking for a designer who is eager to creatively utilize our powerful branding to produce eye catching touch points for Runa.

Primary areas of responsibility 

The designer will be responsible for producing all creative work including point of sale materials, advertisements, banners, and display materials.

Our Expectations: 

The incumbent must be self-guided, proactive, people-oriented, and extremely well organized. Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is required. Incumbent must also have a working knowledge of product photography and packaging design.

Additional experience in vendor management as well as eagerness to coordinate all in-house printing projects is encouraged.

Compensation 

A competitive hourly rate based on experience.

New York Territory Sales Representative

Runa, an Amazonian beverage company and social enterprise based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a full-time New York City Territory Sales Representative to be based in NYC or the NYC Metro area. Runa is a passionate, entrepreneurial, growing company, looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized new team member to take charge of supporting our products in the area. We are offering a competitive starting salary commensurate upon experience, and will include full benefits and all the tools necessary to do the job well.

Primary areas of responsibility 

  • Manage relationships with grocery teams and buyers at existing and new accounts in the NYC and greater NYC regions.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, trade shows, product demonstrations.
  • Pitch and open new accounts for our bagged and bottled tea products.
  • Work with existing brokers and distributors to support new placements and opportunities.
  • Negotiate shelf-placement and merchandize.
  • Execute occasional demos and in-store tea-tastings to support retail accounts.
  • Coordinate promotional programs and sales support materials with accounts.
  • Create sales projections and execute reports.
  • Research events and marketing opportunities that would propel the brand and the product in the region.
  • Report performance goals and communicate challenges to the national sales team.

Our Expectations: 

The incumbent must be self-guided, proactive, people-oriented and extremely well organized. She or he will spend a significant portion of time in the field at accounts with distributors, other sales representatives and brokers. Applicants will need to have access to a reliable car and enthusiasm working remotely in a collaborative role. Two or more years of prior experience in the industry and/or a similar position is preferable. Literacy in sales is a necessity and experience with in-store grocery teams is greatly preferred.
